Serps Pensions

It has been found recently that there is £100 billion sitting with in consumers personal pensions due to them contracting out of Serps in the 80’s. The most amazing fact is that the majority of individuals regonised to be contracted out of serps when questioned did not realise that they did so at the time, therefore they were not aware that a proportion of their national insurance contributions had been paid into a personal pension on their behalf for up to 30 years
