Fund Managers of the Artemis Investment Fund
Philip Wolstencroft has been manager of the Artemis European Growth Fund since its launch in 2001. Philip was previously head of Pan-european Equity Strategy at Merrill Lynch, following stints at NatWest Investment Management and WorldInvest. Philip was creator of the SmartGARP investment process, which Artemis uses to help choose stocks.
Peter Saacke studied in Oxford and Freiburg, before completing a PhD in Economics at Hamburg University. Peter joined Artemis from Merrill Lynch in December 2002, where he was was a Pan European equity strategist and quantitive economist. In addition to working with Philip Wolstencroft on the Artemis European Growth Fund, Peter also manages the Artemis Global Growth Fund.
