At Principle First we believe that the single greatest sustainable issue facing humanity is the pressing need to develop and build, a sustainable energy infrastructure of a size and capability that will relieve our dependence on coal and oil forever. It’s a big ask, but many companies and many countries around the world have made a significant start.
Through Sustainovation, Principle First will seek to highlight companies and investment funds from the UK, and around the globe, who are doing most to lead the way in developing the technology, manufacturing the hardware and building the infrastructure for the sustainable energy networks of the world.
Unfortunately, many short-sighted companies have sought to merely cloak themselves in “green” in order to take advantage of those investors who have a conscientious desire to invest in a sustainable future. Through Sustainovation, Principle First will attempt to bring transparency in this sector to a level that will be uncomfortable for those who up to now may have trumpeted their ”green” credentials in a rather exaggerated manner.
Principle First appreciate that in practical terms, many companies have the need to spread their investments, and we are not some “green investment guerrillas” seeking only to proclaim the truly righteous. Common sense will run through the fabric of all our observations and recommendations. Above all, we will be transparent in our analysis and all of the information which informs our judgments will be shared with you, the investor.
